Wabigonese La Forme

Community Support Coordinator

Wabigonese La Forme is a member of the Mississauga’s of the Credit, (of Onodaga and Ojibway decent) and is the Community Support Coordinator with ISN Maskwa.


Wabi works directly with the Community Support Personnel teams that are on deployments. She produces deployment reports and ensures documentation is upkept while supporting the teams.  Her role is unique in the sense that she provides administrative support while also being deployable to work onsite with ground teams or remotely. Wabi also conducts administrative duties, training and helps to develop course material on the ISN Maskwa Community Support Personnel training courses.


She attended Niagara College to obtain a two-year diploma in Protection, Security and Investigations: Private Security. Wabi has been working in the private security industry since getting licensed in 2016, working in different types of venues over the years including night clubs, bars, hotels, special events and concerts. She has certifications in Basic Emergency Management, Critical Incident Stress Debrief, Mental Health First Aid, First Aid, CPR and AED Level C, Naloxone Training and Search and Rescue.


Wabi has 15 years of experience participating, working and volunteering within the Indigenous community, working with at-risk youth and land-based programs. As a youth Wabi was very active in her home Indigenous community which lead her to the opportunity of being the Youth Representative on the Board of Directors at her local Native Friendship Center. Wabi was given the opportunity to work with at-risk Indigenous youth in a land-based program outside of Barrie, Ontario. The program was a summer camps where youth were paired with horses and learned to care and ride them alongside traditional teachings. These experiences sparked her interest in giving back to her community and pursuing a career in protection.


Her hobbies and interests include reading military history and horseback riding.
