INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES
Risk management is the process for identifying, analyzing, and communicating risk and accepting, avoiding, transferring, or controlling it to an acceptable level considering associated costs and benefits of any actions taken.
ISN works closely with our clients to understand our client’s security risk profile and risk appetite. We then use industry best practices and subject matter experts to establish and implement a security risk management plan. These plans can include, creating a robust enterprise security management system, conducting threat, risk and vulnerability assessments, training employees on how they each play a role in minimizing the organization’s risk profile or conducting detailed investigations on security breaches or employee misconduct.

Gerry Demeules
Business Development Consultant and Senior Investigator
Gerry has been with ISN since 2023 as a Business Development Specialist. He has 20 years experience as a Sergeant with the Ontario Provincial Police Emergency Response Team along with 15 years as Fire Chief/General Manager of Protective Services for the town of Kapuskasing.
Gerry is a certified instructor in many fields including: Incident Management System, Wildland Fire fighting, Search & Rescue and Basic Emergency Management.
His educational experience includes a Bachelor of Arts at Wilfrid Laurier University, The University of Western Ontario- Certificate in Advanced Police Studies and a level 3 Certified Municipal Manager for Police Professional/Emergency Management Professional and Fire Service Professional from the Ontario Municipal Management Institute.
