INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES
Risk management is the process for identifying, analyzing, and communicating risk and accepting, avoiding, transferring, or controlling it to an acceptable level considering associated costs and benefits of any actions taken.
ISN works closely with our clients to understand our client’s security risk profile and risk appetite. We then use industry best practices and subject matter experts to establish and implement a security risk management plan. These plans can include, creating a robust enterprise security management system, conducting threat, risk and vulnerability assessments, training employees on how they each play a role in minimizing the organization’s risk profile or conducting detailed investigations on security breaches or employee misconduct.

Mike Fluker
Senior Investigator and Business Development Consultant
Mike Fluker was a client of ISN going all the way back to 2005 when he was Vice President of Corporate Security for a 1400 store drug retail chain with stores across Canada. The bonds that were formed back then has brought him back to the company in the capacity of senior investigator and business development for western Canada.
Mike had a twenty year career with the RCMP serving in British Columbia primarily in the lower mainland. He has extensive experience investigating serious crimes, organized crime, criminal intelligence and drug undercover operations. Upon retiring from the RCMP Mike went on to become the Director of Licensing and Audit for the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission.
In 2003 he went on to form his own private investigation company providing loss prevention development and management services for a major client. This included providing and overseeing close protection for the client’s family and security for personal and corporate assets as well as a professional sports team.
